Dip Dyed Candles

DIY Dip Dyed Candles

Materials:

Tapered candles

Wax flakes

Crayons

Knife

Cutting board

Mason jars

Pot for simmering water

Spoons

 

Directions:

1. Place the wax flakes into the mason jars.

2. Use a knife to cut the crayons into small pieces and place in the jars with the wax.

3. Place the jars in the pot of simmering water.

4. Allow the wax to melt completely and place on the counter to cool slightly.

5. While it cools for a minute or two, put the tapered candles in the freezer.

6. Then, remove after a few minutes and dip the base of the candle into the melted wax. Repeat if desired.

7. Allow to dry completely.
